Objective/Purpose: To provide an organization for hiking and socializing and to establish and maintain the trails in the Villages open space for all residents of the Villages only.
Meeting Times and Place: The Club meets the last Monday of the month at 7:30p.m. in Foothill center. A program follows the short meeting and social period. There are weekly hikes on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 8:30 a.m. Our social events are every other month on the second Thursday of the month at 5:30p.m. at Foothill Center. Please watch the Villager for detailed information on the hikes and social events.
Other Activities: We have several special events that are always listed in the Villager. We celebrate New Year’s Day with a hike to the top of the hill with lots of food and drink to share. We often take one or two “away” trips to some location in California. We have an annual trail maintenance day to repair the trails after the winter rains and to build new trails as needed.
Other Pertinent Information: We welcome all level of hikers and try to have hikes that meet the needs of our members. Come join us!
