Coyote Regional Park
On 3-Mar-2024 eight Rambler hikers set out to Coyote Hills Regional Park in southern Fremont. With the very nice weather all were able to enjoy spectacular views across the Bay from the Dumbarton Bridge and the Palo Alto area north to the San Mateo-Hayward Bridge, San Bruno Mtn, San Francisco, the SF-Oakland Bridge and even Mt. Tam. The hike was just under 4 miles and very easy. The poppies were in bloom and the group survived an encounter with a “rafter” of wild turkeys who knew better than to mess with Villagers.
