Big Basin State Park Hike

The long hikers did a 12 mile moderately hilly successful hike from the park headquarters to Waddell Beach at the Pacific Ocean on Saturday, June 25th. It was a pretty warm day at Big Basin but as the group hiked toward the beach, a cool breeze came up to cool all. The tall ancient beautiful redwood trees did not disappoint. This year there was actually more water at the Berry Creek Fall. After the hike, the group drove to Felton and had dinner at a beautiful restaurant called Cow Boy Grill. The group returned at 9pm.
