April 4th through 6th the spring outing was held in Morro Bay, a seaside resort area that provided a variety of hiking trails along the dramatic seaside as well as nearby mountains. There were impressive sea stacks, sandstone formations, and colorful spring flowers in Los Padros National forest. A visit to the pinnacles was also a favorite destination. Some of the group went to Carrizo Plain National Monument at Santa Margarita, about 2 hours from Morro Bay.
