On 9-17-2022 eight hikers enjoyed an 11 mile hike (1400′ gain) that Gisela Pearson organized and led. Weather was terrific with a foggy morning followed by a sunny, breezy afternoon. Wildlife sightings included tarantula and deer.
On 31-Aug-2022 Ann Davenport led a hike in Olivas past the gnomes, back down the dirt path along the fence in Olivas, and back up a path to Olivas circle and back to the Vineyard center. About 2.5 miles.
On 8-20-2022 Al Girolami led a hike in Mt. Madonna Park. It was the 4th of the Santa Clara County Parks 2022 Magnificent 7#PixInParks hikes. This almost 6 mile loop on Tie Camp and Ridge Trails which goes through many Redwoods was mostly shaded and cool.
On 8-15-2022 Terri Vivoli and Cheryl Allmen led a walk along the exterior of the golf course since there was a scheduled tournament. They saw five deer and lots of little dwarfs along the way. on their path.
