Five members of the Hill Hike group made it to the top on Saturday, August 16th. They were joined at the tip by Deimmy Henderson (R) and her friend, Kim. Who knew it was “Wear Pink and Go Hike” Day.

Seven Rambler hikers – Mary, Monona, Amy, Duc, Phil, Richard, and John – set out for a 5-mile adventure at Sanborn County Park. The scenery along the route was stunning, with sweeping views and a mile-long steep climb leading to a narrow mountain ridge pathway. The trail was challenging, but our group’s determination and teamwork carried us through, and everyone make it to the finish with smiles. Afterward, we celebrated with delicious classic fish & chips at Anchors fish & Chips Restaurant in Saratoga. It was the perfect ending to a beautiful day of hiking and camaraderie. John Zhang led the hike.

Rambler lite walk to LeBoulanger, Cheryl Allmen was photographer.

Since there was a tournament, 16 walkers hiked around the rim of the Golf Course. Great weather and conversations. Marie Buck went midway and Cheryl Allmen was the photographer. Great time was had by all.

Twelve Rambler hikers, led by John Zhang, explored the scenic Wilder Ranch State Park on July 16th, enjoying a four-mile beach walk filled with natural beauty and coastal charm.
We began our route by visiting Wilder Beach Lookout, followed by Fern Grotto Beach, and finally arriving at Sand Plant Beach. Along the way, we walked atop coastal cliffs on the trail, looking down at the powerful waves crashing below and observing lazy seals lounging on the rock. The coastline was beautifully shaped by rocky coves, revealing a striking landscape of unique rock formations and dramatic ocean view. It was a refreshing and inspiring day out by the sea. After the hike, we went to Cafe Brasil for a tasty and unique lunch.

Gordon Carbonetti led a hike along the Arrowhead Trail in Coyote Valley Open Space Preserve in Morgan Hill. Nine hearty hikers braved the summer heat and hustled to complete the trek by 11:30AM to avoid the high afternoon temperatures. Congratulations to all.
